I haven't tried everything on the menu, that doesn't mean I won't! I love their gizzards!!! They are the absolute best in Texas. I highly recommend you try them, I'm not a huge fan of gizzards, only @ this place will I eat them b/c they're not seasoned enough anywhere else. I get them every weekend now b/c they're my favorite thing to eat here. Great customer service and they're all nice to me, try them out y'all

I'm assuming they don't have the dine in option. We ordered through a side window and let me tell you our order came out quick! The chicken was really good, the gizzards are FAMOUS and I can see why, the okra was amazing, really good coleslaw, the biscuits melt in your mouth, the hot sauces adds a nice touch!

There's not too many chicken places I recommend, even more so when in small town like mine. Rodee's is always busy and that's for a reason - their chicken is pretty damn good - Bush's Chicken good. I remember as a teen, when we were lucky to splurge, my dad would get us Rodee's. I hadn't had Rodee's in YEARS. Let me tell you, I took a bite this year and AY GUEY!!!!! This yardbird still rocks. Their meal deals are pretty reasonable and usually include a large side and a 2 little bottle of your favorite "Coke." If you're ever down yonder, either passing by or losing your money at the casino and craving some good chicken, do stop by. Just remember, there's usually a small wait, even during off peak hours but so totally worth it. Provecho!

Holy moly. Maybe it's because I haven't had fried chicken in so long or the fact that it's this good. And based on other Yelp reviews, it seems their quality has gone down...so I can only imagine what it was like before and am so happy I still gave it a chance. Here at Kickapoo Casino for a work trip and needed to get out of the casino environment for some good food besides the Mexican food I've been enjoying. I Yelped and found this place. Not a big gizzard fan but this is what they're famous for. So if you are, even more incentive to stop here. For about $7.50 I got one of the tenders specials - 5 freshly made to order spicy chicken tenders, a side of delicious gravy, small coleslaw, a roll, 2 jalapeños and gizzard hot sauce. The big thing in this area is getting whole jalapeños that have been soaking and breaking them open to release the marinated juices on your food. The tenders were fresh and hot. Almost too hot to eat right away which personally I loved. Crispy, tender, and steaming. According to Google Maps it was less busy than usual so I got my food in under 5 minutes from ordering. Seating is mostly booths and a few tables. They don't clean them often, but I do feel like it adds to the authenticity of a hole in the wall. But...this is also the reason I'll give it one less star. I can also tell parking would be challenging when busy. Long review short, so glad I took the chance. You should too if you ever find yourself in Eagle Pass.
